THE MARINA COLLECTION AT WR
White Rose presents a special collection supporting the Marina H Smith Foundation donated by people inspired by the work of Marina Helen Smith MBE D.Litt.
Marina was dedicated to building understanding and empathy. She co-founded the National Holocaust Centre & Museum in North Nottinghamshire, giving up her family home for this purpose.
Marina devoted her life to Holocaust Education and care for survivors, supporting them to share their painful testimonies with young people. She was awarded an MBE and an Honorary Degree from Nottingham Trent University for her extraordinary service. Marina also inspired and nurtured the growth of White Rose, opening the Market Street store in Nottingham on 9th December 2017. Her ongoing wish, written in her last letter in 2022, was
“Let there be love”
Proceeds will go directly to the Marina H Smith Foundation, supporting the continuity of her work, caring for survivors of genocide, supporting peacebuilders across the world and supporting the growth of social enterprises that underpin peacebuilding.
